Lower Cross Syndrome

Lower Cross Syndrome (LCS) is a condition that is commonly treated in a chiropractic office. The majority of patients with low back pain respond quickly to their treatment. However, some patients require additional stretches and exercises to treat their LCS. LCS is typically caused by sitting for long periods of time. This is made worse with poor posture and usually leads to an anterior pelvic tilt. Patients with LCS suffer with tightness of the lumbar (low back) muscles and the thighs. LCS patients also have weakness of the abdominal muscles and glutes. Click here to read more about Lower Cross Syndrome.
